Hey guys! How have you all been? Did you all have a great Christmas and New Year? I know I did. I love this time of year. It’s always so wonderful to spend time with family and friends. Right now I’m in the middle of recording my fourth album. I’m on winter break from school, which has given me time to get a lot of work done for this new project. The new album has a lot of great new material, as well as some unforgettable country classics. I can’t wait to finish recording and get the record out on the shelves. I’ve been pretty busy this past year and haven’t been able to put out a news update. This past summer was a blast. I performed at so many different events. One of the biggest shows of the summer was in Shafferstown, PA where I performed with Jeff Bates. That was an amazing night. There’s always so much to learn when performing with other artists. I performed at a number of malls, including a Christmas show this past month at the Schuylkill Mall, and a show at the Cressona Mall which was completely packed! I was so grateful and completely surprised to see so many fans come out and support me at the show! Thanks so much guys, I really do appreciate everything.
Surprisingly, I was asked to be one of the judges along with the Poptart Monkeys, at the Schuylkill County Idol: Competing for a Cause event, where I also gave a guest performance. Speaking of guest performances, I completed a number of them this past season, including appearances at places such as the Christian Convention in Telford, PA; the national anthem at Big Diamond Raceway, Forestville, PA; Community Days, Hegins, PA, and Schuylkill County Idol, Frackville, PA ( a separate entity from the one listed above.) I want to send my thanks to Valeria Eshelman, Jessica Miller, Krista Roehrig, Jake Smulley, and everyone else who has invited me for guest performances at their events! I always appreciate the opportunity to perform and am always open for anything! Another exciting event, this past September was at the Great Gratz Fair, PA, where I performed three shows a night for two days out of the week. It was chilly both nights, all six shows. I can still see the audience, bundled up in hats, gloves, and even blankets. It wasn’t the first time I had performed at the Gratz Fair, but it’s just one of those events where it’s never tiring to get some of that great fair food and watch a demolition derby. I also performed at Columbia’s Toys for Tots Barbeque fest for the fourth year now, which has grown into an even greater venue from the time I first performed there. Bill Perkins is an amazing contributor to the event and has really helped with all the progress. And I couldn’t thank him enough for all the support and opportunities he has given me to perform at the event. Thanks for everything Bill! Williamstown was another exciting show with the band. This was the first show that kicked off our summer season. The band did such a great job, and I always appreciate all the hard work they put in with rehearsals and learning new music. Thanks for everything guys! They really are a great group of absolutely talented hard working guys. Those are just a few events from this past summer.
Right now I’m getting ready for the Pennsylvania Fair Convention, at the Hershey Lodge, which is coming up in the next couple weeks. This is always a really exciting event. I’ll be performing with my band and set up at a booth with my booking agency, Clousher Entertainment. You can check out the agency’s website and find me on there at www.clousherentertainment.com. Right now we’ve been starting a lot of the booking for this upcoming year.
I’ll give you a little update on school. In case you forgot, I’m majoring in Music Business at Lebanon Valley College, a small private liberal arts school. I’m on break right now, which is great. Also, luckily, I’ll be graduating early! You can’t imagine how happy this makes me. I’ll also be doing a summer internship beginning in May of the upcoming year. I will most likely do my internship in Nashville. I love Nashville, and I can’t wait to get down there.
I hope to see you all soon! And I hope that you guys all enjoy the new album. I’ll actually be in the studio tonight finishing up some of the album work. Thank you to Fred Clousher, my booking agent, my family, who helps to manage my act, Bob Delong, my photographer, Brian Clayton and the Green River Band, Randy at KC Businesses, Bill Perkins, and everyone else who has helped me so much throughout this musical journey! Don’t forget to check out the website for upcoming shows and events! See you all soon!!
